The ‘Pricing Modifiers Line’ form enables you to enter Pricing Modifiers Line information for the Pricing Modifiers.
To open the ‘Pricing Modifiers Line’ form:
• Position the cursor on the row where you want to enter the Pricing Modifier information (below row 9), click on the ‘Pricing Modifiers Line’ Form icon.
• Or you can simply double-click in any cell in the ‘Pricing Modifiers Line’ section.
• Or you can click on the ‘Pricing Modifiers Header’ Form and click on the List Lines>> button.
The following ‘Modifier Lines’ form will display:
• Enter all required fields which are shaded yellow. Enter any other details as required.
• Use the ‘up’ and ‘down’ arrows on the right-hand side of the form to navigate between line records in the worksheet. Where no other lines exist for the selected modifier the form will navigate to the next header line even if a blank line exists between the individual modifiers.
If you wish to insert an additional line and another modifier is in your worksheet, use the functionality of Excel to insert a new line into your worksheet, position your cursor on this line and open the line form, using the methods explained above.
• The <<List Header button will take you back to the header form.
• The Pricing Attr>> button will take you to the ‘Pricing Attributes’ form for this Pricing Modifier Line. This button will not appear if you do not have Attribute columns in your worksheet.
• The Line Qualifiers>> button will take you to the ‘Pricing Attributes’ form for this Pricing Modifier Line. This button will not appear if you do not have Attribute columns in your worksheet.
• Click the ‘Ok’ button to close the form and write the information to the worksheet.
• Click the ‘Cancel’ button to disregard the entries made in the form and return to the worksheet.
The form functionality is very similar to that of the Oracle Form. Use the lists of values provided or enter the values directly into the form. All of the More4apps Wizard forms function in the same way.
You can also refer to the Oracle Advanced Pricing User Guide on setting up Pricing Modifiers for more information on the fields provided in Oracle.
Product Description and Upgrade Item Description
The ‘Product Description’ and ‘Upgrade Item Description’ columns have been included in Pricing Modifiers Wizard for information purposes only.
These fields are not updated in Oracle by Pricing Modifiers Wizard. When downloading, these columns are populated from the associated item or category and are for reference purpose only.
If you enter your own description into the worksheet, this will be over-written when running the upload or validate process.
Note - Patch 11828647: After this Patch, ‘Print on Invoice’ flag will still be available on the Modifier form, but Oracle will ignore the value passed to the API. It will always give a ‘No’ for this field.
