Cost Codes
In E-BUSINESS SUITE release 12.2 Oracle released new functionality, including a new Structure called the ‘Cost Breakdown Structure’ (CBS).
This provides for a new list of special ‘Codes’ that can be attached to Tasks in either the Financial or Workplan Structures.
Project Wizard has been enhanced to provide support for maintaining the assigning of these Codes to Tasks.
A new section has been added to the layout to accommodate the CBS.
They can be downloaded, added and removed from the Tasks.
To view the Cost Codes options, you will need to select ‘Cost Codes’ from the ‘Wizard Mode’ list of values provided on the Project Wizard ribbon as per the screenshot below:
The ribbon will be reset to reflect the options available for Cost Codes.
