Overview - Steps to Load Element Entries

 
Once Element Entry Wizard has been installed for your instance of Oracle Applications, the following steps outline the basic procedure for loading element entries using Element Entry Wizard.
 
Steps to load Element Entries:
 
1.    Open the workbook and Login – Connect to your Oracle Applications instance.
Refer to section: Logging In and Out
 
2.    Click on the ‘New Sheet’ button.  This can be found on the Element Entry Wizard ribbon.
 
 
3.    Set up the Batch Header Information.
Refer to section: Element Entry Batch Header
 
4.    Create the Batch Lines (Element Entries).
Refer to section: Element Entry Lines
 
5.    Upload the Element Lines into the Interface Table.
Refer to section: Upload Element Entries
 
6.    Correct errors after uploading the Element Lines (Optional).
This step is only required if there are errors.
 
7.    Run the Batch Element Entry (BEE) Concurrent Program.
This program will import the element entries into Oracle HRMS.
 
8.    Correct errors after Batch Element Entry (BEE) Concurrent Program (Optional).
This step is only required if there are errors.
