Overview - Steps to Use Application Interface Wizard

Once Application Interface Wizard has been installed on your Oracle instance, the following steps outline the basic procedure for managing and using AIW Templates for loading information into Oracle EBS.

Steps to start with AIW and manage AIW Templates

1. Open the workbook and Login – Connect to the Oracle database.

2. Set up the Template.

This section contains a substantial amount of information about how to configure, manage and utilize templates, and much more.

3. Secure the Template to EBS Responsibilities (recommended).

Steps to loading data using the AIW Template

1. Open the Worksheet.

2. Create and/or Update the information.

3. Load the records into the Interface/API.

4. Correct errors after uploading the records.

This step is only required if there are errors.
