Overview - Steps to Use Application Interface Wizard

Once Application Interface Wizard has been installed on your Oracle instance, the following steps outline the basic procedure for creating, maintaining and using AIW Templates for loading information into Oracle EBS.

Steps to create and maintain AIW Templates

1. Open the workbook and Login – Connect to the Oracle database.

2. Set up the Template.

This section contains a substantial amount of information about how to create a new template, customize the template including LOVs and defaults, set up descriptive or key flexfields, modify templates, and much more.

3. Secure the Template to EBS Responsibilities (recommended).

Steps to loading data using the AIW Template

1. Open the Worksheet.

2. Create and/or Update the information.

Refer to section: Enter Information into the Worksheet

3. Load the records into the Interface/API.

4. Correct errors after uploading the records.

This step is only required if there are errors.
