Licence Keys, Named Users & Installation

Pre-built Loaders vs Full Licence
Application Interface Wizard is a rich development platform aimed at empowering System Administrators to create their own Loaders for their user community.

There may be times however where More4apps has been commissioned to provide a pre-built supported Loader to meet unique business requirements.  If this is the case the Wizard licence will only allow those specific loaders to be used and developers will be unable to create their own Templates without a full licence.

Contact More4apps for more information should your licence requirements change.

Licence Key and Named Users
The instructions for setting up the list of instances, using licence keys and adding named users for the full licence version of Application Interface Wizard are in the Installation and Configuration Guide.

If More4apps has supplied Specific Loaders for your use, please refer to the detailed process for creating these in this section:  Installing More4apps Specific Loaders

Specific Loader Licence Keys
The Loader Licences work in the same way as the Wizard Licence Keys.  If the key has expired the loader reverts back to the limit of five records per upload, as if the key were a trial licence.

A Wizard licence will enable all Wizard features to the user, but will not include any additional custom loaders made by More4apps, unless the loader licence has been activated.  For example:

If the Wizard licence is not active or has expired but the loader licence is still current, users are only able to access that specific loader, and the system administrator will not have the freedom of creating their own templates as they would with a full Wizard licence.

Specific Loader Named Users
Licence keys contain a limited number of users that can be assigned to use the Wizard at any time.  Users assigned to Specific Loaders my not have access to the full Wizard functionality.  If they require access to the Full Licence and Specific Loaders supplied by More4apps it is important that users are assigned to use both by the System Administrator.

The system administrator must also make sure that the user has access to at least one of the responsibilities assigned to the template that the user will be expected to work in.

Oracle EBS Connection Method
This connection method is recommended for use with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). This connection method is not available for use with non-EBS databases.
This method connects to the Oracle database via the intranet, using a similar web connection technology to that used in the Oracle EBS forms.  Two packages will be installed into the database, and for Release 12 a Java Servlet will also be required. Users will log in using their Oracle EBS Username, Password and Responsibility.
