Create and Update Options

 
Project Wizard provides the following ‘Create/Update’ options on the Project Wizard ribbon.
 
 
·            Create & Update (Default):  Allows the user to create and update project information.  Project Wizard will first attempt to locate the project.  Finding it, it will call the AMG update procedure.  If it does not find it, it will look for template information and then proceed to create a new project.
 
·            Create Only:  Allows the user to create project information only.  This will prevent users from accidentally updating existing projects.
 
·            Update Only:  Allows the user to update project information only.  This will prevent users from accidentally creating a new project. Updating a project using Project Wizard is subject to exactly the same constraints as encountered using the Oracle forms.
 
You may also renumber the Project and Task numbers, although you must have the Project ID/Task ID columns in order to do this.
 
Note - The program will ignore a project if the ‘Upload Status’ (on the worksheet) is set to ‘Updated’ or ‘Deleted’.  To update a project multiple times clear the contents of the status column.
 
Oracle has not yet provided the functionality in AMG to delete Classifications or Key Members.
