The download step is required to bring the appropriate ID’s into your worksheet. The ID’s are required to process the transaction.
2.Enter the following details directly into the worksheet or enter the details into the ‘PO Receiving Form’. Access the PO Receiving form by positioning your cursor on the appropriate record and either double-clicking on a line populated by the PO/Shipment or selecting the ‘PO Receiving Form’ button on the ribbon.
In the ‘Receipt Header’ section enter the ‘Receipt Date’.
In the ‘Receipt Transactions’ section of the worksheet or the ‘Receipt Lines’ tab of the form complete the following:
•Transaction Type – Correct.
•Destination Type.
•Transaction Date – This defaults to today’s date on upload and cannot be updated.
•Quantity - The derived quantities will be downloaded into your worksheet when using ‘Corrections’ as the Download Source Option. These can be changed as appropriate.
Note - The quantity entered here should be the adjustment value. For example if a receipt has been created for 100 items and this needs to be corrected to 90 items then a correction value of negative 10 is required (-10).
•Complete any other fields (columns) as appropriate ie ‘Comments’ column.
Note – Transaction Type of ‘Deliver’ will have to be corrected before a Transaction Type of ‘Receive’ can be corrected.
