There are two cost sections in this Wizard. The Assembly and Components have these associated sections. These two sections are used for display purposes and are not uploaded. Using the Cost Type control in the ribbon you can specify the cost type that will download for the assembly and components. If these sections are not required, they may be removed.
To use the costing forms, position the cursor on the row where you want to view the Costing information (below row 10), click on the ‘Forms’ icon in the ribbon and either of the cost forms. Alternatively double-click on any cell in the costing sections on the worksheet. You will need to have already entered the Assembly Header and/or Component information.
The following ‘Assembly Costs’ form and ‘Component Costs’ form will appear:
These forms are for displaying Cost information. No information can be entered or changed. There is no Upload Action field as costs are not uploaded in the Bill of Materials Wizard.
