Download Using Sheet Data

When using this method select the ‘Download Source Option’ from the list of values on the PO Receiving Wizard first.  This determines the type of data which will be downloaded.

See explanation for options in the section above Download Existing Transactions.

Then complete the following:

1.    Enter a combination of the following in a blank row in your worksheet to determine the criteria for your download:  Inventory Org, Shipment Number, Receipt Number, Supplier Name, Supplier Number, PO Number, Line Receipt Date, Deliver To, Deliver to Location.
Note – When using the ‘Download using sheet data’ option in the Wizard, the ‘Default Values’ row (Row 10) is not used.

2.    Highlight the rows with values entered, as illustrated above.

3.    Click the ‘Download’ icon and select ‘Download using sheet data’ on the PO Receiving Wizard ribbon.

Note - If an item on a Purchase Order has been 100% receipted or the quantity receipted exceeds the PO quantity then the associated line will not appear using the supplier download.

The appropriate data will be downloaded into your worksheet based on the criteria entered.

Quantities
Apart from the ‘Summary’ download, the ‘Quantity’ column will not be populated as part of the download.  If you wish to see the quantities remaining to be receipted, delivered, returned or corrected, then ensure the details provided below are completed on your worksheet and use the Validate Option of ‘Validate only’ (refer to Upload Transactions for detailed instructions):

       Leave the Quantity Value ‘blank’.

Ensure the ‘Process Option’ is set appropriately (‘Create’ mode for creating receipts etc).
Refer to section:  PO Receiving Form

Ensure the ‘Download Source Option’ has been chosen as appropriate for the transaction (Receipt, Corrections etc).

The derived quantities will be loaded into your worksheet and these can be changed as appropriate.
