Enter Data into the Worksheet

 
There are three ways to populate information in the worksheet:
 
a)     Import a file, type or paste data directly into the cells provided.  No validation is performed until you run the upload or open the data-entry forms.
 
b)     Use the data-entry forms (‘PO Receiving Form’ and ‘Descriptive Flexfield’ Form) to enter the data into the worksheet. Information is validated and lists of values are available.

c)      Use the ‘Download’ form to download existing Purchase Orders or Receipts.  You can then use one of the methods above to update information prior to loading into Oracle.
This method is of particular importance when updating a receipt to be delivered, returning items to the supplier or correcting an existing receipt/delivery.  This is due to the correct header and line ID’s being required.  The only way to obtain these is by undertaking the appropriate download.
