Customize Fields

 
The ‘Customize Fields’ button on the PO Receiving Wizard – Setup ribbon opens the ‘Set Create Fields’ form.
 
 
 
The form will open and this will enable the user to determine how the worksheet will appear when the ‘New Sheet’ button on the form is used.
 
 
The following customizations are provided by the form:
 
     Wizard Mode – There are three options available of Create, Correct or Return.
 
     Select – By removing the associated tick next to the column name, will remove the column from the worksheet you are about to create.
 
     Custom Label – The Wizard has standard column names which are consistent with the Oracle forms.  This provides you with the ability to customize these column names to suite your business needs.
 
     Mandatory – Allows you to specify which columns and subsequent values, must be entered on your worksheet.  If any of the checked columns are not supplied on the worksheet (ie the column has been deleted/removed), the upload will fail.
There is also the requirement to enter the value in the worksheet for each transaction.  This can also be achieved by using the Default Values functionality.
 
     Comment – Comments are inserted in each column heading cell to assist users when completing the worksheet.  The values shown currently are the default comments.  These can be customized to provide the appropriate comments for your business needs.
 
Click OK to close the form.
Click Create Sheet button to create a new worksheet based on your selection.
Click Cancel button to exit the form without changing the settings.
 
To later create another worksheet based on the selection, simply open this form and click on the ‘Create Sheet’ button again.
