Item Relationships Mode

This mode was named ‘Related Item’ in the Item Extension Wizard and allows to define relationships between Items.

This mode is only applicable to 12.1 onwards.  If you are in 11i then this mode
is available in the Item Extension Wizard. This mode will only be visible if this Patch 14329926 has been applied in your instance. This patch is needed by API to
      create/update 'Related Items'.

Relationship is at the master item level only; you cannot have related items at the child organization level.  When there is multiple master Org for an item, the Wizard is unable to find the unique record so the customer has to add ‘Master Organization Code’ on to the sheet in front of the Item Number.  An Error will show similar to “[Item Number] Unable to uniquely identify value. Dependent column(s) are required to determine uniqueness: Master Organization Code”.

Create/insert can only occur if an item exists in Oracle.

This is a 1 to Many relationships where one Item can have many relationships with an Item Number.

Duplicates are not allowed - A duplicate is the same Item and Relationship Type combination, or a Reciprocal Relationship for the same Relationship Type.

Updates are not allowed (This is the limitation of Oracle API).
