Overview – Steps to Loading Journals

 
Once the GL Wizard has been installed for your instance of Oracle Applications, the following steps outline the basic procedure for loading journal information using the GL Wizard.
 
Steps to Load Journal Information:
 
•   Open the workbook and Login – Connect to your Oracle Applications instance.

•   Set up the Worksheet (select the relevant sections and fields).

•   Select the Wizard ‘Mode’ based on the type of Journal you are creating.
This can be found by clicking on the ‘Select Template’ button on the GL Wizard ribbon.
 
 
Then select the required Mode from the LOVs and click ‘Create New’.

•   Create Journal/s.

•   Upload the Journals.

Upload Journals/Budget Amounts
Submit GL Import Concurrent Program
 
•   Correct errors after uploading the Journals.
This step is only required if there are errors.
