Status and Message Columns

Every worksheet will be created with an ‘Upload Result’ and ‘Upload Message’ column within the ‘Upload Results’ section of the worksheet.

Accepted Status
When a Pricing Modifier has multiple lines and/or attributes and is uploaded into Oracle only the first line will have a status of Accepted.

The ‘Upload Result’ column should be read in conjunction with the ‘Upload Message’ column to determine the overall success of the upload:

If all lines on a Pricing Modifier are successfully uploaded the two fields will display:

The error message will appear on the row with the issue which will enable you to correct the data and reload the pricing modifier.

The worksheet statuses are as follows:

Status
Status Explanation

Prior to running the validate/upload process.
Validated
The information for this Pricing Modifier has successfully passed the spreadsheet validation.
Warning
Some of the information for this pricing Modifier has successfully loaded into Oracle but some details have failed.  Refer to the ‘Upload Message’ column for the details of what has not been loaded.
Accepted
All the information for this Pricing Modifier has passed validation and has been successfully loaded into Oracle.  Note there may be individual lines with errors that were not uploaded.
Error
The information for this Pricing Modifier has error(s) and has not been loaded successfully into Oracle.

The ‘Upload Message’ column will display messages for the Pricing Modifier on the relevant row.  For example if you have an ‘Upload Result’ of Error you should refer to the ‘Upload Message’ column to find the message(s). The message will appear on the row with the error which will enable you to correct the data and reload the Pricing Modifier.

Example
Below is an example of a Pricing Modifiers Wizard worksheet.  In this example four Pricing Modifiers are being created.
For the second Pricing Modifier the header has been loaded into Oracle but the lines have an error as shown in the ‘Upload Message’ column.  The status of this record is Warning

The fourth record has failed at the Header level with a message of ‘Modifier Type value not found’.  No part of this record has been uploaded into Oracle.

These errors can quickly be corrected and the data reloaded.  After correcting the worksheet, for the partially uploaded record clear the Warning ‘Upload Result’ status and upload the changes again.  Where no part of the record has been uploaded into Oracle this step is not required.
