To open the DFF form you can either double-click on one of the DFF columns in your worksheet or select the valid DFF form on the Wizard ribbon as illustrated below:
The form provided will enable you to enter the Global attributes and any ‘Context’ (if applicable). When the ‘Context’ is entered the form will change and add any attributes per your EBS setup.
Note - Even if you do not have an active DFF Context this column must be in the worksheet to enable the DFF form and subsequent upload to function as expected.
If your worksheet does not display all attribute columns, the ones required based on your EBS may not be in your worksheet. As illustrated in the example below you will receive a message for each of the ATTRIBUTE(s) which are required (per your EBS setup) and are missing from your worksheet.
The fields will then appear grey and you will not be able to enter any details.
If this occurs you will need to close this form and manually insert the appropriate columns in your worksheet by using excel functionality. Copying an existing column (e.g. Header Attribute1), insert it and rename the column header (e.g. Header Attribute10). Note that there should be no space between the ‘Attribute’ and number.
Once the appropriate attribute column(s) have been added to your worksheet the form fields will be enterable using the DFF form.
During upload the Flexfields will be validated to ensure the compulsory columns are included in your worksheet (based on the set up in your EBS).
