To make Material Transaction Wizard easier to use we have added read only fields to the spreadsheet i.e. ‘Item Description’, ‘Current Average Cost’, ‘Quantity on Hand’, ‘Current Total Value’, ‘Net Value Change’, ‘Category Set’ and ‘Category’ etc. These fields are for information purposes only and shaded grey. They are not required, validated or loaded by the Wizard.
When downloading transactions then the ‘Item Description’ is downloaded as well.
If you open the Material Transaction Line, Item Lot or Item Serial Number form then the ‘Item Description’ on the spreadsheet is updated automatically.
If you upload/validate the material transaction, then the Description is also defaulted.
Note: If you enter your own ‘Item Description’ it will be overwritten when opening the form or validating/creating transaction data.
