Transaction Defaults Mode

 
This mode is only applicable to 12.2 onwards.  If it is less than 12.2 then this mode is available in the Item Extension Wizard.  This mode will only be visible if Patch
30733858 has been applied in your instance. This patch is needed by the API to create/update 'Transaction Defaults'.
 
This mode is used to add Transaction Defaults to an Item for both Subinventory and Subinventory/Locator.
 
Transaction Defaults are defined for any inventory organization you have access to.
 
The Transaction Default mode has three sections – Items, Subinventories and Locators.
 
 
Items Section
 
     Organization Code – This is a required field.
     Item Number - Item must exist in the inventory Organization and is a required field.
  
The Items user form in this mode is used to enter information into the worksheet and validate the information.
 
Update and Delete Transaction Defaults are allowed. 
 
Subinventories Form
 
To open the user form, double-click in a cell in the Subinventories section on the row you wish to populate the Subinventories data (must be below row 10).
 
The following ‘Subinventories’ form will display:
 
 
The fields displayed are the columns that were on the active sheet when the Wizard was initialized.  You can enter data directly into the form and use the list of values supplied. 
 
Mandatory fields in this form include ‘Subinventory Default For’ and ‘Subinventory’.  The ‘New Subinventory’ field is used when you want to change it to a new subinventory.
 
In the Items section, select an Organization Code and search for an Item Number you wish to load.
 
Locators Form
 
To open the Locators form, double-click in a cell in the Locators section on the row you wish to populate the Locators data (must be below row 10).
 
The following ‘Locators’ form will display:
 
 
If you previously downloaded your item first (See the Download Translations section), and there are some locators you do not want to load, you can leave the ‘Locator Upload Action’ field empty.  The Wizard will then ignore that locator for upload.
 
Mandatory fields in this form are ‘Locator Default For’, ‘Locator Subinventory’ and ‘Locator’.  The ‘Locator New Subinventory’ and ‘New Locator’ fields are used when you update to a new locator subinventory and a new locator.
 
When these are populated along with the ‘Organization Code’ and ‘Item Number’ from the Items section the record can be uploaded.
