Subinventory

When it comes to using Subinventory mode, it is using direct table insert. Unfortunately, there isn't Oracle API available for this mode, so users will need to be extra diligent in testing before making the move to the production environment.

You are able to create and update item Subinventory assignments, an item within an inventory organization.
Create locators for an item within a Subinventory.  For a specific item there can be multiple locators within a Subinventory.  A locator is unique to a Subinventory.

Requirements:
Set the profile 'More4Apps: IEW Activate Subinventory Mode’ to "Yes". Note that this is using a direct table insert into the Oracle tables and is not supported by Oracle.

Rules and Exceptions:
Create/insert can only occur if an item exists in Oracle.
You cannot load a locator without a Subinventory.
Item deletion from Subinventory is not supported.

Functionality Type:
This Load type uses a custom API not supported by Oracle.

Spreadsheet Subinventory Level Data Columns:

(a)   Subinventory Assignment uses the following additional columns from the spreadsheet:

(i)     Organization Code
(ii)    Item Number

(b)   Supply Subinventory – The Subinventory name is unique within an inventory organization.

(c)    Min Max Planned – If Par level planning is setup for the Subinventory then you cannot enter a value for this.

(d)   Subinventory Item Minimum and Maximum Min Max Quantities – If Par level planning is setup for the Subinventory then you cannot enter a value for this.
If you check Min-Max Planning, enter minimum quantity and maximum quantity values.  These values must be positive numbers.

(e)   Fixed Lot Multiplier – This is a positive number field, decimals are okay.

(f) Subinventory Item Minimum and Maximum Order Quantities – Enter minimum quantity and maximum quantity values.  These values must be positive numbers and in multiples of the fixed lot multiple (if it exists, otherwise any positive number can be used).

(g)    Source details – The source details are the same as per the following logic at the item level:

(i)     Source Type
(ii)    Source Organization

Spreadsheet Locator Level Data Columns:

Locators and Par Levels – Optionally, enter a Locator.  This is based on the locator key Flexfield.  If you are using PAR level planning for this Subinventory this field is enabled, otherwise you cannot enter PAR levels.  Enter the PAR level if you entered a locator for the Subinventory.  You can assign an item to multiple locators within a subinventory, each with a different PAR level.  However you cannot assign multiple PAR levels to the same locator.  A PAR level must be numeric – positive or negative numbers are allowed.

Locator Rules and Designs – Subinventories can have multiple locators based on the locator KFF.
Item Subinventory Locator – This is the locator to assign to the item.  If the locator exists then only the PAR value can be updated.
Par Value – The Par Value is a positive number which can only be entered if the Subinventory is setup with the planning level = 1.  Supply Subinventory.
