When it comes to using Manufacturer mode, it is using Oracle Private Package. Unfortunately, there isn't Oracle Public API available for this mode, so users will need to be extra diligent in testing before making the move to the production environment.
To make the manufacturer parts available in the iProcurement, Item Extension Wizard runs a concurrent program called "Rebuild Catalog interMedia Index" as part of the upload in Manufacturer mode. It's important to note that the "Rebuild Catalog interMedia Index" program doesn't allow you to run past dates.
