The Bill of Materials Wizard allows you to upload and download Descriptive Flexfield information for the Assembly, Components and Reference Designators (provided you have configured them within Oracle Applications).
The Flexfields forms are available on the product ribbon as a drop-down list when the ‘(..) DFF’s’ button is clicked (as per screenshot below) or when double-clicking in the applicable DFF section on the sheet.
Note - The Oracle Bill of Materials API does not support updates to the Flexfields only. For the update to be executed, the user must update the value of at least one other field.
