Delete Groups – Routing Level
If you want to delete a Routing you must use an existing Delete Group, this is standard functionality. You cannot delete the Routing directly using the More4Apps Wizard.
To delete the Routing: In the ‘Routings’ form, set the ‘Routing Action’ to ‘Delete’ and choose a ‘Delete Group’ from the List of Values as shown below.
Do not action any section below Routings.
Then follow the upload procedure to submit the Routing(s) to be deleted.
The Routings are added to the Delete Group.
Note - You cannot delete a Primary Routing if other Alternate Routings exist. The Primary Routing must be the first Routing created and last Routing deleted.
If you log into Oracle Applications you will see the Routings to be deleted for your chosen Delete Group.
EBS: Bills of Material > Delete Groups
You need to click the ‘Delete Group’ button for the deletion to be submitted.
Note - If in the ‘Deletion Groups’ form (as per screenshot above) and the ‘Errors’ button is able to be clicked, the Routing will not be in the ‘Delete Group’. The Error could be because another Alternate exists other than the Primary Routing ie ‘You cannot delete a Primary Routing if Alternates exist’.
Delete Groups – Operation Level
If you want to delete Operations you must use an existing Delete Group, this is standard functionality. You cannot delete the routing Operations directly using the More4Apps Wizard.
To delete the Routing Operations: In the ‘Operations’ form, set the ‘Operation Action’ to ‘Delete’ and choose a ‘Delete Group’ from the LOV as shown below:
Do not action any section below Operations.
Then follow the upload procedure to submit the Routing Operation to be deleted.
The Routing Operations are added to the Delete Group.
If you log into Oracle Applications you will see the routing operations, to be deleted for your chosen delete group.
EBS: Bills of Material > Delete Groups
You need to press the ‘Delete Group’ button for the deletion to be submitted.
Delete Resources/Alternate Resource
You can also delete all Resources/Alternate Resource from an Operation - These do not use a Delete Group instead are deleted directly.
Open the Operation Resources/Alternate Resources form and choose ‘Delete’ as the action.
Upload the data.
