Download all Routings with their Operations and Resources related to a selected Manufacturing Item.
EBS: Routings > Tools > Indented Bills.
This download ‘Explodes’ the Bill of Materials related to the selected Item and returns all of the Routingsrelated to those Bills in the ‘Indented’ structure.
Create a sheet using ‘Create All Columns’ on the Templates tab on the Ribbon.
Navigate to the ‘Download Form’ on the Routing Wizard ribbon and select the ‘Routings Exploder’ as the download source.
Press ‘OK’ to load the Exploder Form.
Inventory Org Code– The list of values contains the code for all Organizations accessible within the Responsibility selected.
Item– The list of values contains only those Items assigned to the Inventory Organization selected. Select the Item you wish to Explode.
Alternate- The list of values contains all Alternates predefined for the Organization. Select the Routing you wish to Explode.
Explode to Level– Set the ‘depth’ of the Explosion, the numbers of levels returned. In most cases 10 is the maximum number of levels.
The ‘All Columns’ sheet has specific Explode related columns to help understand the data returned.
Sheet Explode columns
Explode LevelThis column shows the level of the Routing in the exploded structure and the Parent Item.
Exploder Level columns
Top Item –Shows the Item Exploded for every record of an Explosion. Useful when multiple Exlposions are returned on the same sheet.
L0 – LX –Level 0 to Level 10 gives a representation of the indented structure matching Oracle.
If the Explosion fails or times out, lowering the number of levels in the search will lessen the search time and the amount of data the API is trying to return.
