There are no Oracle API’s or open interfaces for loading Attachments. The Wizard can only create attachments for records that have already been imported into Oracle. Therefore the best time to load attachments is after the upload/refresh process. The Wizard will validate the existence of the transaction to receive the Attachment.
There are four ways to upload Attachments:
- Using the ‘Upload All Attachments’ icon. After the transactions have been loaded into Oracle, click on the icon. The Wizard will attempt to load all attachments in the worksheet (not previously loaded). The Attachment status and message columns will be updated accordingly (ie Loaded or Error and any associated messages).
- From the Attachment Form. There is an ‘Upload Now’ button on the Attachment form for uploading an individual attachment. The attachment status and message columns for this record will be updated accordingly.
- During the Concurrent Refresh process. Upload your transactions as per normal using the concurrent programme. When the user clicks on the ‘Concurrent Refresh’ icon, the Wizard will ask if you would like to load Attachments. If ‘Yes’ is selected the Wizard will attempt to load all attachments in the worksheet (not previously loaded). The Attachment status and message columns will be updated accordingly.
- Using the ‘Upload All’ iconon the ribbon. Once the processing has finished a message box will appear ‘Do you want to upload all Attachments?’. Click ‘Yes’ to load.
