•Spreadsheet Validation - The data entry forms (i.e. Price List Header, Price List Line, Pricing Attribute, Price List Qualifier, Price Breaks and Secondary Price List forms) validate the data using lists of values, date formats, field lengths and some other field level validation.
•Upload Validation - The upload process will perform the spreadsheet validation above as well as the validation within the API or Concurrent Request depending on what upload option is selected.
Data keyed directly into the worksheet (not via the Wizard data entry forms) will be validated when uploaded into Oracle. If you wish to check anything before it is uploaded, simply open the Wizard form, or alternatively select the ‘Validate only’ option on the Price List Wizard ribbon and select one of the Upload options.
