The Resource Overheads Header form holds the specific header information of the Resource Overhead Parent item.
All fields are mandatory for upload and therefore coloured yellow.
When entering data fields may turn red. If this occurs the fields in red require attention and an associated message will appear in the status bar along the bottom of the form as to why an error had occurred.
Fields
Inventory Org Code
Using the Resource Overheads mode, you can maintain different costs for an item at different Inventory Organizations.
Resource Overhead Code
Represents the Resource Overhead Code you are adding Cost Types/Overheads to or modifying rates or amounts.
Resource Overhead Description
This represents Resource Overhead Description of the Resource Overhead. This field is display only and does not get uploaded.
Resource Cost Element
This field correlates to the ‘Cost Element’ field in the Oracle forms. This field allows the choice of ‘Overhead’ or ‘Material Overhead’. Note that if ‘Material Overhead’ is selected that overhead rates cannot be applied.
Default Basis
The Default Basis for the Resource Overhead. This field is mandatory and must contain one of the values in the list of values. This field is not updateable due to the limitations of the Oracle Interface.
Cost Type
The Cost Type for each Overhead Rate assigned to the Overhead code. Updates cannot be made to the default cost type for each overhead.
Cost Type Description
The Description of the Cost Type that is selected above.
