Copy Costs Form

 
This functionality allows the users to copy the Cost information from one Cost Type to another Cost Type for the same item.
 
Normally in Oracle you would have to submit a concurrent program for each item you want to do this for. 
 
With the Wizard you list the Item/Cost Type to copy from/to, and it will submit all the requests for you, if you use the Profile Option and set it to ‘Yes’.  More4Apps: ICW Allow Direct Item Cost Copy Without Concurrent Program – This profile option enables the copy to be directly updated, rather than having to run the concurrent program.  (Refer to section:  Profile Options
 
To use this feature, you must enter the Inventory Organization Code, Cost Type
and Item as normal.  Then enter the appropriate ‘Copy Option’ and ‘Copy to Cost Type’ in the ‘Copy Costs’ section on the worksheet.
 
Alternatively, you can use the ‘Copy Cost’ form. 
To open the form either double-click in a field in the ‘Copy Costs’ section of the worksheet or click ‘Forms’ on the Item Cost Wizard and click ‘Copy Costs’ to open the form:

When you upload the lines a separate concurrent request for each line will be automatically submitted.  Use ‘View Concurrent Requests’ to check the results of the copy.  As no date is actually uploaded to an interface, no refresh is available in the sheet.
