Loader Specific Installation

Prior to doing the installation you should have two zip files:

• Shared Installation Zip File (servlet):

install.zip (for R11) or R12install.zip (for R12 instances)

• Loader Zip File: XXX_loader.zip or XXX_loader_VERSION.zip

(Where XXX is a name of the loader)

If you do not have these files, refer to the Download the Installation Files section and extract the zip files in the directory.

New Users: When installing the More4apps product/loader for the first time, it involves three installation steps:

1. Servlet installation

2. Shared package installation

3. Loader database package installation

Existing More4apps Users: If you are already using any of our More4apps products, these steps may vary.

Also, some of the loaders may not have any database packages, in that case only steps 1 and 2 are required.

The two zip files above contain mandatory scripts that will install More4apps packages on your Oracle database and set up the More4apps profile options. These packages and profile options are necessary for the loader to communicate with Oracle Applications.

The More4apps packages start with ‘M4APS_’ followed by the name of the loader or similar, relevant to a loader. The packages may also be wrapped (i.e. encrypted). The More4apps Profile Options start with ‘More4apps:’ followed by a short description of the profile option.
