Diagnostic SheetGoing forward, our tools now have a diagnostic tool built into the Wizards. This tool is a toggle-based control that can be turned On and Off. When toggled, a sheet will be created on your behalf titled ‘M4A - Query Log’. Note, you do not need to enter anything into this sheet as the Wizard will do this automatically in the following process.
When a Diagnostic/Debug sheet is requested by More4apps Support please use the following steps:
1. Click the ‘Logging’ button on the Wizard Ribbon.
2. You will be presented with a prompt stating “Diagnostics has now been turned On.”
3. Replicate the requested action from More4apps support.
4. Check that the ‘M4A - Query Log’ sheet contains data.
5. Save and send the workbook to More4apps*.
*Note if you would like to continue using the workbook in the interim until More4apps responds, click the ‘Logging’ button on the ribbon again to turn off diagnostics as it is no longer required for other Wizard operations.
The following message will appear:
In the situation where the Wizard you are using does not have this Logging option, please use the old method outlined below.
The following steps will show you how to create a ‘Debug Sheet’:
1. Insert a new Excel worksheet into the Wizard using Shift + F11.
2. Rename this sheet to ‘Debug’.
3. Repeat the Wizard action that results in the unexpected behavior.
4. Check the 'Debug' sheet contains data.
5. Save the Wizard Workbook and send it to More4apps.
