Default Browser Login

This Login method is available from Oracle EBS 12.1 onwards.

This method uses the default browser on your PC to display the EBS Login page. This is the best method to use if the ‘Standard Login’ method does not work for you.

This method works well with SSO. Many SSO, security and compatibility issues will be resolved by using this method.

Select the ‘Login Method’ from the Setup ribbon:

Click the ‘Login’ button on the Wizard ribbon and the ‘Login’ form will appear to complete the following:

1. Select the appropriate Instance from the list of values.

Click on the ‘Login’ button.

2. The Oracle EBS login page will be displayed in your default browser. If you have your default browser open, the Login page will be displayed as a new tab in the current browser window. If you are using multiple screens the Login page may not be displayed in the same screen as the Wizard.

Enter your User Name and Password.

3. The following page will be displayed after a successful Oracle EBS login:

4. Return to the Wizard and click on the ‘Login’ button.

5. Select a Responsibility from the list of values.

Click on the ‘Continue’ button.
