During an upload, messages are displayed in a Processing form. The data is still validated and errors are handled as per the form validation. Any invalid rows will not be uploaded.
All worksheets will be created with a ‘Upload Status’ and ‘Upload Message’ column.
Status
The ‘Upload Status’ column is used to record the progress of the record. This is found at the beginning of the worksheet to enable the user to determine if any issues have been found.
The ‘Upload Status’ may be:
Status
Status Explanation
Blank
Prior to running the validate/upload process.
Validated
The information for this Event has successfully passed the spreadsheet validation and no errors are reported.
Accepted
All the information for this Event has been successfully loaded, updated or deleted in Oracle Projects.
Error
All the information for this Event has error(s) and has not been uploaded into Oracle Projects. Any incorrect data will appear in red in the worksheet cell and in the form.
Message
The ‘Upload Message’ column is at the beginning of the Event section is used to record any issues with the record for each of the section(s). This column will be ‘blank’ if no errors were found.
In the following example one Event has an error as the Event Type was not valid. All other Events were successfully processed.
If you have removed or renamed a compulsory column you will be informed.
