Number Format

You may have a preference for formatting numbers on your spreadsheet. The default format provided is commas between thousands, and negative numbers to contain a minus sign which appears in red.

If this does not suit you then do the following:

1. Format a cell with the required Numeric Format (any cell will do).

2. Click the ‘$ Number Format’ button on the ribbon.

The Numeric Format is now stored in the workbook and will be used for all numbers.
